Crew available for Atlantic crossing East -> West
Hello there! My partner Xena and I are in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria looking to crew on a passage from here to the Caribbean, Central America, or the US!
We just arrived in Gran Canaria today, and are ready to cross on any date. We both have some experience sailing, albiet bring our adaptability, quick learning, resilience, and easy-going way as our main offer! We understand that sailing is no picnic and are not expecting one, we offer you our full effort, attention, and spirit. We are happily chatty, whilst valuing quiet moments.
I am RYA Comp Crew certified, and Xena has two decent passages under her belt - Dominica - Barbados, and Fakarava to Tahiti. We're both great chefs and are super adaptable to your domestic needs and preferences.
We’re a couple both 26 years old and from the UK - travelling without planes to the States where we will be living for the next 6 months farming. I am a food grower and passionate ecologist, nerdy about slow travel and how to get from A to B without flying. Xena is a visual anthropologist, and a documentary filmmaker. She has her sound recorder and is looking forward to recording different ocean sounds.
