Looking for a Novice Crew, Friendship, Voluntary work or Deckhand position
Hi everyone,
We are Viktoria and Felix, a couple from Northern Italy in our mid-20s, currently in Australia and looking for a new opportunity to keep learning how to sail.
Over the past 3–4 weeks, we lived on a sailboat here in Australia and helped prepare it for a major offshore passage. During that time, we learned a lot about life on board, boat systems, maintenance, daily routines, and sailing in general. A few days ago, we finally set off, but unfortunately due to problems with the captain, we had to leave the boat earlier than expected.
Now we’re looking for a new boat and a new chance to continue our sailing journey.
Our main goal is really to learn as much as possible about sailing. We already gained a lot of first-hand experience, but we’re extremely motivated to keep improving, help wherever needed, and become more confident on the water.
We’re easygoing, respectful, hardworking, and happy to help with anything on board — cooking, cleaning, watches, maintenance, provisioning, or just lending a hand wherever needed.
We’re very flexible regarding location and destination and can travel wherever the right opportunity comes up. We don’t have a fixed plan — we’re mainly looking for good people, a good learning experience, and more time at sea.
If you’re looking for enthusiastic crew members and good company on board, we’d love to hear from you!
Warm regards,Felix & Viktoria
