young enthusiastic sailor looking for ocean passage
Hi! I’ve just joined Crewbay. I’m 18 and looking for an adventure—ideally a long ocean passage.
I currently work as a dinghy and keelboat sailing instructor in Chichester, England, and I’ll complete my sailing apprentership at the end of February 2026. I then hope to travel the world. I love sailing, surfing, wing foiling, kitesurfing, and pretty much any watersport I can get involved in.
In November 2025, I bought a 23ft sailing yacht at auction and have been sailing it regularly usually solo around Chichester Harbour. While I’d love to take it on a longer journey one day, I don’t yet feel confident undertaking a solo offshore passage. My yachting experience so far has mainly been winter sailing in the Solent, although I’ve been a dinghy sailor from a very young age.
I’m keen to build offshore experience and would love the opportunity to crew on a longer passage—especially an Atlantic crossing. I’m hardworking, enthusiastic, and always keen to learn and I would be happy to pay for my own travel to meet the right boat at your departure location.
