Looking for a Novice Crew, Voluntary work or Friendship position
Hi - I've just joined Crewbay. I'm interested in finding a position as a Novice Crew, Voluntary work or Friendship. I'm looking forward to meeting some new people!
“I’m brand new to sailing, but I’m all in. My long-term goal is to own my own boat and eventually sail the world. I’m an open-minded guy who tries to put respect and love into the world.
I’ve been a wildland firefighter for 10 years, so I’m comfortable learning hard things in tough conditions. I’ve also got experience with carpentry, electrical work, engine repair, and tools in general. I’m motivated, I take initiative, and I’m big on clear, upfront communication—even when it’s uncomfortable—because it makes relationships and conflict resolution healthier.
I’m excited to meet people in the sailing community, learn as much as I can, and get comfortable on the sea (which is still pretty new territory for me). I’m a novice, but I’m reading books, taking classes, and watching videos, so I’m not a total noob… haha.”
