Looking for a Deckhand or Competent Crew position
Hi everyone, I have just joined Crewbay and I am excited to connect with people in the sailing community. I am currently looking for opportunities as a Deckhand or Competent Crew and would love the chance to get involved with a great crew and gain more time on the water.
I am an easygoing, positive person who genuinely enjoys meeting new people and working as part of a team. I tend to bring good energy wherever I go, and I value being reliable, hardworking, and helpful onboard. I am the type of person who is happy to get stuck into whatever needs doing, whether that is helping with sailing duties, keeping things tidy, or lending a hand wherever it is needed.
Travel and adventure have always been a big part of my life. I have travelled to 47 countries and spent years exploring different cultures and environments, which has made me very adaptable and comfortable in new situations. I enjoy the outdoors, being active, and learning new skills, and sailing feels like a natural extension of that lifestyle.
People often describe me as friendly, curious, and easy to get along with. I enjoy good conversations, teamwork, and the shared experience that comes from life at sea. At the same time, I understand the importance of being respectful of others’ space and contributing positively to the overall atmosphere onboard.
I am keen to continue building my sailing experience, learn from experienced sailors, and be a dependable crew member who contributes to a safe, enjoyable journey for everyone.
