Looking for a Deckhand position

Hi - I've just joined Crewbay. I'm interested in finding a position as a Deckhand.
Hello good evening, my name is Vincenzo Marano. I am 28 years old and come from Sicily, from a town in the province of Catania. I graduated from the nautical technical institute, sailed on cruise ships for 12 months registered on the Seaman's Book, and have also recently sailed on yachts and boats, Azimut 45, Azimut 43 Armonia Positano, De Antonio Yacht, and Cranchi 35, Gozzo Aprea, and Pardo GT 52, and catamarans Bali.

My requirements are:

•License boat

•Driver's License

• Experience on yachts or boats

•Safe operations

•discretion & confidentiality

• Basic knowledge of navigation (mooring, anchoring, cleaning, maintenance)

• Ability to assist in docking and welcoming guests

•Experience in the tender

• Good teamwork skills and positive attitude

• Valid seaman's book / and STCW courses

• Assist with mooring, anchoring, and docking

• Maintain cleanliness of the deck, outdoor areas, and equipment

• Support the captain and crew during operations

• Assist guests when necessary

• Follow safety procedures at all times .

I have been working as a Deckhand and steward here in my city on board luxury yachts since June 1, 2025, and my contract is about to expire in November 30/11/25. I have also gained a lot of confidence and learned new things. I have helped with mooring and unmooring, and I have also practiced steering many boats during work. I have Experience with deck maintenance (paint, varnish, teak).

Confident with Watersports.

ENG Valid , STCW courses , Seaman’s Book and Passport Valid , Boat licence. Visa.

Non-Smoking & No visible Tattoos.

Ability to work in a team, always putting myself out there in every situation, and helping others.

Organizational skills , Serious and precise at work, I complete every task, ability to plan, meet deadlines, and optimize work. Technical skills minor structural maintenance of teak, anchoring mechanisms, mooring and unmooring maneuvers, checking, expiration dates, and correct use of rafts, flares, life jackets, and fire extinguishers.
