About to take my Day Skipper, looking to build experience and make friends
Hi, I’m Tom!
I’m trying to build my sailing experience. I've just been on a trip crossing the channel from England to France and a few stops along the French coast. Before that I spent 10 days dewinterising and prepping a cat in Greece.
I hold STCW, ENG1, RYA VHF/SRC, RYA Powerboat Level 2 and RYA Diesel Engine. I'm about to complete my Day Skipper course and hoping to get as much sailing in as I can before the season finishes.
My background is carpentry and set building so I’m genuinely useful when things need attention on board. I’ve spent years in hospitality so I’m easy to live with and good in close quarters.
I'm no-drama, respectful, patient and openminded. I'm easy to get on with, good vibes and I'm always eager to learn and happy to help out anyway I can.
My passions in life are travel, nature and exploration, music, sunshine and good company.
I'm looking to gain experience, see new and beautiful places and meet some lovely people along the way!
