Looking for a Competent Crew, Mile building, Racing crew or Captain position
US Navy veteran, 30+ years on the water. Just completed a west-to-east transatlantic as First Mate (Key West to Mallorca, 2022 Excess 11 cat) under a Halcyon Yachts senior skipper. Active racing crew on the Warrior Sailing team — competing in the Red Fox Regatta, Lake Charlevoix this Labor Day.
I hold a USCG 100-Ton Master Near Coastal (in process), STCW Basic Safety (in process), and am pursuing RYA Yachtmaster Ocean. I’m a US Navy Second Class Diver with 2,000+ dives, NAUI Master Scuba Diver, and PADI Rescue Diver. Factory certified marine technician across Volvo Penta, Cummins, Johnson, and Yanmar — I fix things when they break offshore, not just at the dock.
I’m looking for: mile-building passages, delivery crew, racing crew, or paid captain/mate positions. Available for offshore and bluewater passages, Caribbean and US waters.
Comfortable in all conditions. Easy to be around offshore. Not here for the Instagram.
