Looking for a boat to cross the Atlantic to the Caribbean (West Indies)
Hello everyone :)
My name is Antoine, I’m from Rennes (Brittany, France) and I love adventures of all kinds!
For several months now, I’ve been dreaming of setting off to explore the world. After much deliberation about where to go, I’ve decided to head for the Caribbean – and more specifically, the West Indies – to begin my adventure. I’ve always wanted to experience life, nature and culture on the islands.
To tell you a bit more about myself, I’m a fan of animals, nature, hiking, meeting new people, world music, discovering new places, and loads of other things… I’m a curious, open-minded, kind, determined and, of course, friendly person ^^
In the Caribbean, I’m looking to do some woofing, work in animal shelters, and so on. To stay true to my values, I’d ideally like to cross the Atlantic on a sailing boat!
So I’m looking for someone who’d be willing to take me aboard their yacht for the transatlantic crossing, bearing in mind that I’m a beginner in this field. However, I’ve already spent days out on boats and catamarans, and I’m a very strong swimmer, having competed in swimming and water polo (though I don’t plan on swimming too often during the crossing, haha). I’d be absolutely delighted to learn how to sail a boat. I speak french, italian and english. I know a bit of Spanish.
