Looking for a Racing crew, looking to build offshore miles
Hi, I'm Maxim, 22, a business informatics student from Germany.
Sailing background:
- Around 10 years of sailing on the Baltic Sea, growing up in Kiel
- Competitive Laser racing for years, owned my own Laser
- Solid feel for trim, boat handling and reading the wind
What I'm looking for:
I have little experience on larger keelboats so far and want to change that. I'm looking for deliveries or passages in the Mediterranean or southbound towards Madeira and the Canary Islands, ideally 1–3 weeks. Long-term goal: an Atlantic crossing.
What I bring:
- Happy to stand night watches, help in the galley, clean and do maintenance
- Fit, used to hiking and outdoor life
- Travelled for a year with a backpack, comfortable living in small spaces
- Happy to contribute to the boat kitty
Availability: university breaks, spring (late March to mid-April) and late summer/autumn (August to early October).
