Looking for Atlantic Crossing from Canary Islands in Fall 2026
Hi! I am Louis and I want to cross the Atlantic Ocean in autumn 2026. I bring over 700 nm of coastal sailing experience, been a skipper myself, and own a coastal sailing license (German SKS). My main motivation is simply that I love being on sailboats. I would also like to get to know the cruising community, meet new people, and gain experience/learn on a longer offshore passage. I am happy to contribute wherever needed: sailing, standing watches, cooking, keeping the boat clean, helping with maintenance and repairs, and preparing the boat for the passage. I work as a software engineer and have a strong practical understanding of electronics and mechanics. On board I am tidy (I put tools back where they belong), behaving responsibly, and bring a happy mood.
