Enthusiastic beginner looking for sailing adventures!
I’m Gala, from Barcelona, Spain. I’m a 34-year-old production designer working in the film industry, but whenever I’m not working, I’m usually planning my next adventure!
I love travelling, discovering new places, meeting people from different backgrounds and experiencing different ways of living. I’ve recently spent several months in Australia and New Zealand, travelling around, camping and enjoying a much simpler life, which I absolutely loved.
Sailing is something I’ve been wanting to get into for a long time. I’m still a beginner, but I’m really excited to learn, gain experience and hopefully become a good crew member one day. One of my dreams is to cross the Atlantic!
I’m not looking for a luxury holiday. What attracts me is the experience of living on a boat, being part of a crew, learning from others and sharing the everyday life on board. I’m more than happy to help with sailing, cooking, cleaning or whatever needs to be done.
I’d describe myself as curious, independent, easygoing and creative. I enjoy good conversations, nature, exploring new places and also having some quiet time to myself.
I’m open to different destinations and adventures, whether it’s a short coastal trip or a longer passage, and happy to share expenses.
