Chef with strong pastry skills open to temporary and part-time/casual gigs in the autumn/winter in Oceania

WHO AM I?
Experienced chef, baker and a certified pastry chef, with background in a Michelin restaurant, boutique catering companies and wedding catering among others
Past experience with both sail and motor yacht seasons in the Meds and Caribbean and Pacific NW
Energetic personality, always smiling, active lifestyle. love for adventure.
Located long-term in Canada, planning to spend this winter in New Zealand again.
Looking for an interesting boat for fall, free from about mid October onwards for interesting part-time or casual gigs.
Dream boat: boat with an interesting route, smaller crew, with relaxed vibe onboard, yet with space for a great dining experience from seasonal produce and sea bounty. Let's explore what the local season has to offer!

WHY TO TAKE ME ONBOARD:
Excellent references from past yacht jobs, from captains, boat owners and crew mates, and cool versatile culinary experiences from croissant and sourdough bakeries to fancy city restaurants. I'm fun and can keep good company, but also very independent and will do just fine minding my own business and doing my own schedule as chefs often do
Easy going, positive mindset, as hard working as any chef is, responsible, tidy and really proud of my organizational and time management skills.
Can mix a mean cocktail thanks to my past bar career back in Europe. Passionate about cooking great food from fresh seasonal ingredients. Can very comfortably accommodate vegans, vegetarians, or GF diets, if desired.

I'm very comfortable with private owners and a small crew on a professional yacht, so I know how to give space and a sense of privacy even when I'm around, if that's your needs. I can also keep the boat spotless, job well done makes me content.

LANGUAGES: Native Czech, fluent English (Canadian resident), conversational Spanish, basic conversational German, fluent Slovak.

Sailing experience: basic theory & practical supported by RYA Day skipper, very eager to get more hold of it by practice on a boat + Powerboat 2 by RYA and experience driving different powerboats on my past jobs.
Culinary certificate from Baking & Pastry Arts at NSCC, Canada.

Canadian work visa/residency + EU Schengen visa/nationality + NZ Working Holiday work visa active till Feb24

I'm happy to answer any of your questions.

Looking forward to hearing from you, thank you for your interest!
