Couple seeks sailing opportunity
Hello, we are Martin (Swiss, 41) and Anja (German, 40) and are looking for a sailing opportunity between the beginning of November 2026 and the end of March 2027 at the latest, preferably for a longer period with extended legs/ocean crossings.
I (Martin) hold a Swiss offshore sailing license and have approximately 7,700 nautical miles of experience as a crew member between the Atlantic island groups and the Caribbean, as well as from Panama to the Galapagos. Anja is a novice with no sailing experience, but she has proven in various situations that she is not prone to seasickness and is motivated to learn to sail. Our main language is German and we also speak English well.
Our goal is to have a great time together with interesting new people and also to gain further experience so that Anja can get a taste of sailing life before we will decide to buy a sailing yacht to explore the world from the sea.
Besides sailing and doing watches, we are also happy to help with repairs and maintenance. We can also take on other tasks like cooking and washing up; Martin is a great cook and Anja enjoys doing the dishes :)
We have both traveled extensively, usually low budget and we have overcome many challenges.
