***CREW AVAILABLE*** From Melanesia to Asia
Dear Shipmates,
I’m Emil, an underwater photographer, nomad, sailor, and ocean lover, currently in New Caledonia looking to sail to Asia. I have Indonesia in mind, but I am open to other destinations.
Since 2019, I’ve been on a circumnavigation (15 000 n.m), traveling only by sea and crewing on different boats along the way. Sailing has taken me across the Atlantic, through the Caribbean, and deep into the Pacific. I’ve sailed on monohulls and catamarans from 40 to 60 feet, sharing offshore passages, island cruising, and everyday life on board with different crews.
On board, I’m a reliable, easy-going, and hands-on crew member who enjoys being part of the team. I’m comfortable with night watches, sail handling, anchoring, docking, and all aspects of life at sea. I’m fit and agile, able to climb the mast, jump in the water to check the anchor, clean the hull. I’m also an experienced freediver, scuba instructor, and spearfisher, always keen to explore the underwater wonders.
I enjoy cooking healthy meals for the crew (crêpes included — usually a hit :), and I have no dietary restrictions. I’m relaxed, positive, respectful, and I value good communication, teamwork, and good vibes on board.
If you’re looking for a capable, friendly, and motivated crew member feel free to get in touch.
Fair winds & happy sailing,
Emil
