In my current summertime role I am a senior deckhand and oversee a crew of two. I have trained five other sailors, lead customer service management onboard, and assist with basic boat maintenance like winch servicing. My background before I transitioned to larger sailing yachts is in collegiate small boat racing and instructing. I have experience on a variety of different sizes of sailboats but am still eager to learn more. I am always looking to increase my knowledge on different sailing techniques, rigging, and engine maintenance. I thrive in team environments and would love to join a crew who is just as passionate about sailing as I am. Outside of sailing I enjoy working on cars, painting, and Muay Thai. I have traveled over Europe and many parts of Asia, and have lived abroad for many months.
I am fluent in English and Tetum and have a basic grasp of Italian.
I have my STCW, ENG 1, and IYT Powerboat certifications.
