Looking for Competent Crew (Dayskipper qualified), Mile building help?
It all started with a few Greek flotilla trips(N& S Ionian) - absolutely loved them and I've properly caught the sailing bug!
I'm now really interested in sailing as effective competent crew, mile building, some friendly racing (first race experience with JOG in September 2021), and meeting some new people out on the water.
Day Skipper qualification (2019), but would welcome the opportunity to meet and join others as an effective and sociable crew member for day sails, overnight trips, and general mile building/cruising as I look towards Coastal Skipper qualifications in the future.
Located just an hour from UK south coast, short trips and overnighters on Solent & Channel are perfect. Have my own business (architectural practice), so also happy to bunk off mid-week for a sunny day sail or overnight trip! Longer trips also by arrangement.
brief cv: 50yrs old, Day Skipper Practical & ICC, VHF & First Aid (All 2019), 10yrs Canoe & Sea kayak experience and quals. Full UK driving license, keen trail runner, fit and active.
