Looking to gain sailing and mechanical/electrical engineering experience.
Hi - My name is Ben, and I'm looking to increase my sailing experience as well as my mechanical/electrical engineering knowledge by helping crew for some more experienced folks. I'd also be interested in helping with boat refit/rebuilds. I'm fairly novice, although I do have a couple ASA certifications (101, 103, 104). I have also sailed a very small amount in New Zealand and in Tonga.
I am very easy going and responsible, and willing to help with anything and everything. I love learning, exploring, and meeting new people (but don't worry I'm not TOO talkative). I am an ok cook (but an excellent dishwasher!), I also love surfing, fishing, kayaking, and snorkeling.
I'd love to help in any capacity I can, including helping with deliveries, crossings, general crewing, and even fixing up boats. I'm not afraid of hard work or getting my hands dirty, so don't hesitate to get in touch if you need the help. Cheers!
