I am in Mathew Town, Inaugua, available for tossing a frisbee for the foreseeable future..
I am in Mathew Town, Inagua, Bahamas, I am willing to throw a frisbee with strangers in need of throwing a frisbee, I have a frisbee with no strings attached. Winds are looking favorable in the near future here on Inagua and there is a nice field to throw in.Blah blah blah a good all around mechanic, and natural sailor, I would be a valuable addition to any crew. I will want to be sailing north towards Florida at some point, or on to Panama if the right vessel presents. For now I am enjoying the vibe here.
I am ASA certified. I learned to sail as a child in lakes and on trips to Florida, but most of my experience is in the San Francisco Bay where current and wind can be quite challenging. And now I can say I sailed from Tampa down to the West Indies. I am accustomed to extreme conditions. I am calm in high stress situations , Im good with sails and all types of maintenance and repairs, Im good in the galley, and not too terrible on the guitar. Please contact me if you are looking for a hardworking deckhand. Smugglers pass this one by! Also, just to be clear, I am not angling for a romantic encounter, try match or tinder.
I have had my Covid vaccines and a booster.
Watch yourself with this one!
Winslow (Fake Name) boarded in Tampa for crew to Bahamas and possibly to Panama. During interview he neglected to mention he has been homeless for many years, introverted loner with issues. Wants to treat your sailboat as his personal raceer regardless of the strains he places on the standing or running rigging. On watch he points the boat 60 degrees off course because he liked the wind better and could go faster. Disregarded rule of no sail changes without approval, one occasion he performs an uncontrolled jibe resulting in the stroud support bar snapping, another after being briefed on weather and placing reefs in main and headsail for approaching blow after i laydown he takes out the reefs because it was too slow for him then blow hits and vessel gets overwhelmed and he has no idea what to do but scream for help and I rush to correct. Freaks out if you turn the motor on to motor sail. Goes into a tyrannical rage when he tells me he needs to rerun the 2nd reef line as it is not on the front of sail and I tell him it is there and correct ( we had already reefed 2nd point a couple of times, then he starts screaming like a crazy person pointing to the main unaware there are reef points on both sides of the sail. He has also stated himself that he has tried cannibalism in Mexico and and his psychiatrist friend recommend treatment. You have been warned.
