Looking for a Mile building, Racing, Competent Crew or Voluntary work position
My name is Luke. I'm a 28 year old doctor with a few weeks free between jobs.
I have grown up on boats and have my day skipper course completed. I have completed multiple offshore sailing trips and I couldn't have enjoyed them more. My family owned a 33 foot sailing boat growing up and this is where I learned most of my sailing knowledge. In 2019 I worked in marine maintenance in Toronto whist cruising Lake Ontario on company yachts. Last year I was lucky enough to crew for 3 weeks from Amsterdam - Dunkirk - Dublin. And skippered a boat from Ireland to France.
I love sailing and adventures and I am a keen worker. I would hope to be an asset to any crew as I am level headed and and a logical thinker. Signing up to this website stemmed from my desire to explore new experience and travel in a way that factors in what I love doing the most, sailing.
I would ideally be seeking to join a crew who are safe. I am very laid back regards to atmosphere and general working environments. However my upmost priority is travelling in a safe environment and having all the safety aspect of sailing complete.
After that I would describe myself as someone who is very social. I love getting to know new people and enjoying new experiences with like minded people.
