Looking for a professional position in the Carribean from December
Yachmaster offshore commercially endorsed, ENG11, GMDSS GOC, and all STCW certificates including medical care at sea uptodate.
Extensive professional experience on boats up to 30m as skipper or first mate in Europe, the Carribean and Antarctica. Over 30 years experience in the tourism industry, mosty in managerial positions.
I'm currently in Martinique, and looking for a seasonal or temporary position in the Caribbean. I have been a cruising instructor, a job I loved, so would be particularly interested in a position that involves some teaching / passing on skills.
I also have been the part owner of a vegetarian restaurant, so a position as a cook on a large vessel may also suit.
I would normally expect to be paid, although if I like the project, I may be interested in a voluntary position.
Bilingual French / English, non-smoker, non-drinker. I am easy going, adaptable and kind but will not sail with heavy drinkers or smokers
Being a father of two (now grown up) I am fine with kids.
