Hello, -AVAILABLE NOW, BASED IN ANTIBES-

Yachtmaster Ocean (Theory)
STCW, RADAR, GMDSS GOC, PBL 2, HELM (Operational)
I am applying for a position as Captain or Mate on a sailing vessel (Mono or Catamaran).
My sailing journey began in childhood with dinghy sailing, followed by windsurfing competitions as I grew older. At university, I studied various outdoor sports such as skiing, snowboarding, sailing, mountain biking, and yoga. I then completed a two-year apprenticeship to become a sailing instructor — the first year focused on dinghy sailing and the second on cruising instruction. In the mean time I did a lot of regatta to gain in experience and technique, as bowman, trimmer or Skipper.
My goal has always been to learn as much as possible about sailing — including seamanship, boat handling, maintenance, meteorology, and safety — in order to fulfil my dream of becoming a professional skipper. After obtaining my Yachtmaster Offshore and RYA Cruising Instructor certificates, I began working seasonally for charter companies. I have worked in Greece and Australia as both Skipper and Cruising Instructor.
In Australia, I served as Master on the luxury charter vessel MiLady and, in parallel, on a classic gaff-rigged schooner named Providence V, operating with three crew and up to 24 guests. Upon returning to France, I worked as First Mate on a 40m deckhouse cutter-rigged sailing yacht.
Over the past nine years, I have gained extensive experience as a skipper and instructor on both sailing monohulls and catamarans for charter companies and private yachts in France, Spain, Greece, and Australia. Sailing has always remained my primary focus, and I am eager to continue learning and growing as a professional sailor.
These experiences have strengthened my skills in sailing, guest service, yacht maintenance, and teamwork, as well as my coordination with shore-based operations. They have also reinforced my seamanship, safety awareness, and ability to perform effectively under pressure.
I hold the following certifications: MCA Master 200 / OOW 500, Yachtmaster Offshore (Commercial Endorsement), Yachtmaster Ocean (Theory part), RYA Cruising Instructor, STCW10, GMDSS GOC, Chief Engineer Officer 250KW (equivalent of the AEC1) and a valid medical fitness certificate. I am also a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, currently working toward my PADI Divemaster, and I plan to complete the OOW 3000 and AEC 2 in the near future.
I am now seeking a position on a sailing yacht with an active program, ideally involving regattas and watersports. I am looking to commit to a vessel where I can take on more responsibility, be involved in management, and, of course, sail extensively. I would like to join a like-minded and professional team that shares my passion for sailing.
Having grown up on the water, I remain deeply passionate about sailing and all water-related activities such as scuba diving and watersports. Energetic, motivated, and hands-on, I approach my work with enthusiasm while maintaining a calm, reliable, and professional attitude. I believe I would be a valuable asset to your team.
I will be available from mid-December. I am currently based in Antibes and available for an interview or to meet with a crew agent at your convenience.
Thank you for considering my application. I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to discuss how my experience and enthusiasm could contribute to your team.
