Looking for a Deckhand, Stew/Deck, Cook/Stew or Mile building position
Hello everyone,
My name is Fernando Eggeling. I am originally from Ecuador and currently based in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria. I am writing to express my interest in joining your sailing vessel as crew, as I am eager to gain hands-on experience on sailing yachts.
I am an Environmental Engineer by profession and hold the basic maritime certifications required to work onboard, including STCW, ENG1 medical certificate, Powerboat Level 2, and the Spanish PER (Patrón de Embarcaciones de Recreo), which qualifies me to skipper recreational vessels up to 15 meters and allows coastal navigation.
In addition, I have 2 seasons under my belt, I have worked for many years as a surf instructor, I am a certified Divemaster, and I actively practice freediving. I am very confident in the water and comfortable working in high-pressure situations, maintaining a calm and responsible attitude at all times.
