Looking for a Mile building or Competent Crew position
I'm looking for experience offshore sailing, night sailing, mile building, trip planning and navigating. I have been sailing casually for 14 years, have completed ASA 101-111 and have owned two sail boats and done a few charters on my own. I'm available for 4-10 days most months. I'm a 44 year old healthy physician and do not smoke or drink and have never been sea sick. I'm trying to build up my experience and also evaluate different styles of boats in order to purchase my own cruising yacht in a couple of years. I would be willing to pay my own way for the right kind of opportunity with an experienced captain who can provide teaching. Otherwise, for standard crewing, I would expect to have my travel expenses covered by the owner. I live in MN but am willing to fly. Let me know if you have any opportunities and we could chat!
