Delivery Crew - Temporary / Seasonal - Min exp 2 years - General (Europe)

We are looking for 3 crew to assist one of our Yachtmaster Ocean skippers for the delivery this Fountaine Pajot 72' catamaran from France to the USVI's, via the Canary Islands. Next to +150.000nm experience this skipper has also brought a Lagoon 620 to from Italy to St Thomas for us, in fall of 2022. So he knows the route ?.

As she's quite a big lady the total on board will be 4. On board will be a satellite connection to get daily weather reports. In addition to the survey the owner is getting a full rigging, engine and generator inspections done at IMS shipyard to make sure she's fully ready for her crossing to the Caribbean. As always, friends and family can follow your progress via our TYDC Track & Trace service.

Crew requirements: minimum RYA Coastal Skipper (sail) or equivalent with ± 2.500nm offshore experience including nights and longer passages. If you don't hold a USA/CA passport you need to already have a B or CD visa for entering the USVI's by boat.

We almost drowned

I had an unfortunate experience sailing with this company where we encountered a perilous situation in the Bay of Biscay, almost leading to our drowning/sinking the boat. To make matters worse, the so-called skipper relieved me of my duties because "i did not trust him" and the company did not providing any compensation, claiming I had signed a contract (thats true). It was definitely not a pleasant experience overall.
