Cruising New England coast
Experienced Captain, ex professional, looking for someone to share cruising and living aboard a Sundeer 60. I'm presently in Maine and will start heading south as the season dictates enjoying the fall colours. Once at Beaufort NC I'll preppare for a passage south to the Caribbean with the French Islands as a destination for the winter.

You don't need to be very experienced, I can sail single handed but prefer to have company. On passage I'll sleep in the pilot house and will always be nearby. I've sailed bigger boats many thousands of ocean miles with just one other female crew.

I sail to the moto " A patient sailor always has a fair wind".

You will ideally be a relaxed person with no ties, be proficient in the galley and happy to share all aspects of keeping the boat safe, clean and tidy. I love to cook but not all the time and I appreciate it when others cook.

Mahayana is a very well found sailing yacht, extensively refitted and updated. New engine, sails, rigging, electronics, Starlink, watermaker, solar, big dingy, paddle boards. Crew has own cabin.

No smoking of any substance at any time. Social drinking when not at sea.

I've safely covered more than 150,000 miles at sea including 1 1/2 circumnavigations of the world. Future plans would include a 3rd Pacific crossing for me.

All boat maintenance cost are covered, share food and the occasional marina visit.
