Hop along on a musical cruise around the world, now Cartagena to Tarifa to Canaries to Caribbean

Blue Disco is circumnavigating the world, or at least we're trying to. We launched in Croatia in late May and made it to dry dock for boat work and upgrades in Cartagena, Spain, via Messina, Sardinia, and the Balearics. This was made possible by the wonderful crew who joined so far, and we're looking for more for the journey to come.

We are just about to leave Cartagena for the leg to Tarifa, and the remaining 2025 itinerary is:

* early to late September: coastal hopping from Cartagena to Tarifa (looking for crew)
* late September to October 8th: mile building from Tarifa to Fuerteventura, pending weather window (looking for crew)
* October 8th to 20th: Canaries island hopping (already fully crewed)
* October 20th to late October/mid November: Canaries island hopping and boat preps while waiting for weather window (priority for crossing crew)
* late October/mid November into December: mile building from Canaries to Lesser Antilles, Caribbean (looking for crew)

Please feel free to join us if:

* You are FLINTA / LGBTQ crew
* You like mingling with people, but prefer a smaller core group to retreat to
* You like learning the ropes by doing or already feel comfortable taking on night shifts
* You prefer sailing and nights at anchor to the marina hopping lifestyle
* You seek challenge and adventure beyond the comforts of land life
* You are hands-on when it comes to fixing and improving things on a boat
* You rather go with the wind than tight schedules and plans
* You don't smoke and restrict alcohol to infrequent occasions
* You enjoy music

After all, this is Blue Disco, and she is equipped with a significant mobile disco PA for sundowner boat and beach parties, a few instruments, and some electronic music production equipment.

Sailing around the world has been my dream for a long time, and after a five-year plan to make it possible and a lot of sweat and toil getting the boat ready, we're finally on our way.
