Blue Disco

Hop along on a musical cruise around the world, coming up: Sint Maarten to Panama

Blue Disco is circumnavigating the world, or at least we're trying to. We launched in Croatia in late May 2025, made it to the Canaries for final Atlantic crossing preparations in October and November, and after some boatwork on Martinique we are currently hopping down and up the Antilles and then over to Panama. We aim for the Pacific crossing in May/June to the Marquesas, French Polynesia, Tahiti, and then on to Fiji.

This was made possible by the wonderful crew who joined so far, and we're looking for more for the journey to come.

There are bree bunks for two legs:

* April and May: Mile Building St. Maarten, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Panama
* June to August (and beyond): Pacific crossing Panama, Marquesas, French Polynesia, Fiji, ...

Please feel free to join us if (ALL of the following):

* You are competent LGBTQ crew
* You already feel comfortable taking on night shifts
* You prefer sailing and nights at anchor to the marina hopping lifestyle
* You like mingling with people, but prefer a smaller core group to retreat to
* You seek challenge and adventure beyond the comforts of land life
* You are hands-on when it comes to fixing and improving things on a boat
* You rather go with the wind than tight schedules and plans
* You don't smoke and restrict alcohol to infrequent occasions
* You enjoy music

After all, this is Blue Disco, and she is equipped with a significant mobile disco PA for sundowner boat and beach parties, a few instruments, and some electronic music production equipment.

Sailing around the world has been my dream for a long time, and after a five-year plan to make it possible and a lot of sweat and toil getting the boat ready, we're finally on our way. Please get in touch if you would like to ride along, be it just for the long passage, or for the entire journey.
