Leaving Tunesia, to get to the atlantic and beyond

We’re a friendly crew of four setting off from Tunisia, then sailing to Gibraltar, the Canary Islands and Cape Verde before crossing the Atlantic and continuing towards Patagonia. We’re looking for someone to join us. You can meet us in Tunisia or at any of those stops.

The boat is a custom-built 15.5-metre aluminium yacht with a lifting keel. You’d have a bunk in a shared cabin. Boat expenses are covered; day-to-day shared expenses are split among the crew.

We’re especially hoping to find someone who understands marine electronics and electrical systems. Experience with Simrad plotters, an NKE autopilot, Victron equipment and onboard networks would be a real help. We’d love someone who can calmly troubleshoot and help us get the systems reliable offshore.

We’re an enthusiastic, friendly team with a sense of humour—and the boat has provided us with a few electrical puzzles to keep things interesting. If you’re practical, good company and enjoy sailing as well as solving technical mysteries, we’d love to hear from you.
