1st Engineer - Temporary / Seasonal - €4500 - Italy
SOLE ENGINEER / DECKHAND – 29m MY (Seasonal)
Location/Itinerary: Mediterranean
Contract Duration: June 2026 – September/October 2026
We are seeking a professional, hands-on Sole Engineer / Deckhand for a private 29m Motor Yacht for the summer season.
In this role, you will have full autonomy and responsibility for the engine room (preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, generators, and systems). Because of the yacht's size and our tight-knit crew, you will also be expected to step out of the engine room and assist on deck during mooring, anchoring, and guest operations.
Requirements:
- Valid AEC 1 & 2 or MEOL (or Italian equivalent like Motorista Abilitato).
- Up-to-date STCW and ENG1 medical certificate.
- Previous experience as a Sole Engineer on similar-sized yachts.
- A proactive, drama-free attitude and a strong team spirit.
- Fluency in English (Italian is a big plus).
