Vanuatu to Australia. Adventure awaits.
Ahoy! I’m the skipper of a sturdy and well-proven S&S34, a classic yacht that has already circumnavigated the globe with previous owners. She’s no luxury cruiser, but she’s tough, seaworthy, and built for adventure.
I’ve been sailing her with crew around the South Pacific since April and I’ll be bringing her home to Australia soon.
On the 11th of October (or first weather window after that), we’ll be sailing from Vanuatu to Australia. We’re looking for a lucky soul to replace a crew member who can no longer make it.
What I’m looking for:
Some prior blue water sailing experience. The right attitude and sense of adventure are just as important! Being good in the galley is always a bonus, but not a deal breaker.
Easygoing, fun, and up for the challenge of bluewater sailing.
I’ve hosted crew before on 2–4 week voyages, as well as crossing the Tasman and it’s always been a fantastic experience. You can check my references in my profile to see for yourself.
If you’re keen on adventure, building miles, and sharing a once-in-a-lifetime crossing, drop me a message.
Fair winds,
Jon

Fantastic Skipper, Fantastic Guy
I sailed with Jon aboard Milanion a few times around Sydney Harbour and he has come out on my yacht, Gypsy, down in Tasmania. Jon is a fantastic skipper, highly knowledgeable, skilled and a great teacher. His yacht, Milanion is solid, safe and comfortable. Jon is a lovely guy, patient, relaxed and great fun.. I greatly enjoy his company and look forward to getting out sailing with him again. I can highly recommend Jon to anyone who wants to get out on the water.
