I’m 35 years old, Russian with Swedish citizenship, full-time IT engineer, flexible enough to go on a two-month trip. I started sailing five years ago, and it has become part of my life. For the last three years I have had my own small yacht (27 feet Swedish yacht from 1968, unfortunately too old and poorly equipped for offshore sailing) - so I am experienced on single-handed sailing, engine maintenance, boat electricity and more other skills. I also have experience as first mate in Mediterranean cruising and, my greatest experience for now, sailing gaff-rigged schooner from Keil, north Germany to Tenerife.
For now, I have a Swedish small boat coastal sailing license (below 12m), and an SRC certificate. I’m going to get an ICC 24m Coastal Yachtmaster license in summer 2024. Work with sails, night shifts, kitchen routine - I can handle everything.
