Seeking navigating adventure to cross from Azores to Europe (continent) in June/july 2026
Hey! I am looking forward to crew on a sailing ship to finish my transatlantic crossing eastbound in June or July 2026. A little about me : I am determined to learn as much as possible about navigating during the trip. I learn fast as I practice daily DIY activities building my home and also I have a mechanical engineer degree with some experience in French industries, I also repaired many things on the boats I had the pleasure to crew on. I used to travel in Europe and central / South Americas by trains, buses and bikes. I can’t wait to continue discovering the freedom of navigating through the immensity of the ocean with you !
Miles built in june 25 in La Manche (English Channel) and the Atlantic coast of France : 400 miles with night shifts , anchorings , marinas , up to 25 kts wind and 1.5m high swale.
Miles built in September - December 25 from Canarias to Barbados, +4000 miles mostly downwind , day and night watches , cooking and maintaining the boat (cleaning turbine, anti fooling , etc)
Miles built in may - june 2026 from Caribbean to Azores, +2750 miles mostly upwind, day and night watches , manual steering, manoeuvres, cooking and mechanical repairs on the boat (I know much about DIY and I am mechanical engineer)

Atlantic Ocean
I had the pleasure of crossing the Atlantic with Yael, my watch partner throughout the entire passage. He is an exceptional sailor: resourceful, always ready to find a solution, able to cook great meals with very little and fix almost anything with next to nothing. He never runs out of ideas to keep morale high and make life on board enjoyable, and he would be a real asset to any crew. I recommend him 100% without hesitation! Alexis
