New to the sea
Hi captain! I’m Angel from Hong Kong.
As a 19-year-old student, I’m still figuring out my future path. I’ll be in Europe from May to September. I’m ambitious and resilient, and I don’t shy away from hard work. Studying mechanical engineering has sparked my interest in large machines like airplanes and ships. I love the sea, and I want to become a sailor in the future, which is why I’m here.
I enjoy trying different sports, and my current favorites are walking, hiking, and cycling. I also love traveling—exploring the world is one of my greatest passions. I’m an organized and rational person who can adapt to any situation.
I'm eager to help with anything on the boat and I'm always willing to learn and practise new skills.

A Tamagochi with superpowers on your next trip !!
Angel (her real name is way too complicated) was part of my one month trip from the Netherlands via Fair Isle and the Shetlands to southwest Norway. She is an amazing lady who usually sits quiet in a corner enjoying one of her electronic toys while not sailing. She gets alive when smelling food, why we started to call her Tamagochi, the little toy creature from the nineties you need to feed at regular times. Although small and tiny her body hosts a great personality. Her superpower is a tiny bit of Autism that makes her stand out from the crowd. She is silent but super smart and well calculated. I put her behind the wheel when our autopilot failed and out of the blue she was so much better in steering than any of the other crew not to mention myself. Super precise, a straight line on the track on the map. So focussed on the navigation plotter. Turned out she also is a mad gamer probably responsible for millions of death corpses online. This Hongkong based 19yo girl is so brave she faked a Holiday in Japan to her parents in order to be able to discover Europe in those three months. Respect! She truly is a Sigma Girl !! I highly recommend her for your future crew. But do take in mind she needs 5 USB sockets for all her toys and for sure good food at regular times, if not she might turn into a Gremlin. It was my honour having you Angel and talking from one Autist to another, share your superpower and become a great professional sailor as you said it was one of your dreams.
