Baltic Sea - I am looking for mile building
Baltic Sea sailors - please get in touch if you need crew for weekend/holiday sailing. I am a novice sailor, I have Competent Crew RYA and experience marine sailing and on lakes on small/medium yachts and keel boats.
I am moving to the Gulf of Riga and looking for sailing opportunities in and around the Baltic Sea, join sailing clubs, get to know some captains and skippers who need regular crew and offer a crew position in the holidays.
I like to spend as much of my weekends and vacation time sailing, as possible! I love to see new places and meet new people. I love how the sea looks different every day and enjoy the wildlife we see along the way. I love cooking and visiting restaurants and bars. I am sporty and enjoy SUP and swimming. I’m building my confidence with snorkelling. I’m very calm, patient and a good team player.
I am Competent Crew certified, which I did with Corfu Sea School in October 2025.
I have experience in cruiser yachts on the Solent, crossing the English Channel and North Sea, weekends and holidays. Experience dinghy and keelboat sailing on St Mary’s Lake nr London.
Experienced in living onboard, docking, sea sailing as well as waterways, canals with locks and negotiating bridges.
I enjoy life onboard and being part of a crew, I’m a kind and helpful person, take direction well and keep myself and shared areas clean and tidy.
Good sense of humour, polite and friendly with good communication and positive mindset.
I enjoy being part of a crew and spending weeks at a time seeing the world from the sea, anchoring and staying at marinas.
I’m good in the galley, excellent at keeping the crew fed and watered and enjoy the camaraderie of being part of a team both above and below deck.

Channel Sailing
Looking back to our sailing in September, i really thank Polly to be on board. We clicked even before, when we discussed the trip online. The first thing that comes to my mind is, her taking care attitude. She had an eye on the wellbeing of all crewmembers and took action wherever needed. She is very respectful and polite but although very open and honest in personal matters. She is a great person to be with, i hope we can arrange some more sailing in the future.
