Great crew to have onboard
It was an absolute pleasure and privilege to host Simon and Johanna aboard my catamaran. They are truly model guests in every respect, arriving wonderfully kind and respectful. Their enthusiasm and positive nature were contagious, and they clearly relished their time at sea. After I provided the initial explanation and supervised the first duties, they immediately proved to be incredibly proactive and helpful with mooring, sail handling, and general deck duties. While they are both beginners and have a lot to learn, they possess the most important qualities: they are excellent listeners who consistently asked good, thoughtful questions. As normal, new tasks required detailed explanations, but their quick learning skills and ability to absorb information instantly were remarkable. They have established a solid foundation and show great potential for becoming skilled sailors. Both Simon and Johanna are good, confident swimmers, which is always reassuring when cruising. They respected the boat and my space completely. I highly recommend them to any host—they are a fantastic addition to any crew and I hope to welcome them back someday!
