Motivated New Crew – Chef Onboard, Ready to Learn from the bottom.
My name is Leandro, I’m 27 years old, and I’m looking to join a sailing crew to start my journey into the world of boats and ocean life. I’ve always loved the sea, but as a professional chef, I never took the step—until now.
I’m really motivated to learn, and I plan to take sailing courses throughout this year. But regardless of any certifications I may get, I want to start from the very bottom and truly understand everything step by step. I believe experience and observation are just as important as theory.
I’m adaptable, easygoing, and I get along well with everyone. I work well in a team and I’m happy to help with cooking, cleaning, night watches—whatever’s needed to support the crew.
I’m also fluent in Spanish and Italian (both native level), and I speak English and German at an upper-intermediate level (around B2 / 7 out of 10). I can easily communicate and collaborate in multilingual environments, which I believe is a plus in international crews.
