Adventurous crew seeking knowledge in a trip anywhere in Europe * Fall 2025
Hi there!
My name is Hubert, I live in Québec, Canada, and I’m looking to join a sailboat as crew starting in October or November 2025 around Europe. Im arriving in Spain in late September, but from there I can travel easily where I want to meet you.
I’m motivated, adaptable, and very eager to learn everything I can about life at sea. I hold a CAN-Sail 1 certification, and I’ve sailed solo on a Laser as well as crewed for a week on a Hunter.
I’m also a seasoned canoeist and outdoor enthusiast, with six wilderness expeditions of 5 to 10 days under my belt, so I’m very comfortable with rustic conditions, teamwork, and living off the grid. I'm also a traveler deep in my soul. I traveled over 30k kilometers in Canada over the years as 9 months in Viet Nam and South East Asia just before Covid. It has been to long, i need another adventure!!
I’m in great physical shape, I love cooking (and I’m good at it!), I’m a quick learner, and I keep a positive attitude even when things get rough. I’m happy to contribute to any and all onboard tasks like night watch, sail handling, cooking, cleaning or whatever needs doing.
In everyday life, I’m a teacher. I’m fun-loving, outgoing, and respectful, and I’m looking forward to discovering the open ocean, learning offshore sailing, and living a great adventure.
I’m available to join a boat anywhere near the Mediterranean in late fall. I don't care where we go, I just want to learn sailing!
