Looking for a Milebuilding experience in Europe - currently in Sardinia
Hi, I'm Kat, 36y old, originally from Berlin/Germany, but currently in Sardinia, after I spent all summer on Korcula island/Croatia.
I quit my job as event manager in June 2022 and been traveling since - first bit in my van and around Europe, then Scandinavia in summer 2023 and from Oct. '23 till March '24 South East Asia, mainly Indonesia.
The Big Blue is my biggest passion hence why I try to explore and discover it in every possible way - surfing / (free) diving (I'm a divemaster) / swimming / sailing...
I'm also an active Sea Shepherd crew, joined their anti whaling campaign in the Faroer Islands this spring.
Besides that I like books over e-reader, nature over night clubs, any kind of movement.
I'm vegetarian - fit & strong - don't get seasick - quick learner.
I've got my first miles under my belt, getting some sailing on a Wharram cat from Raja Ampat all the way to Bitung/Sulawesi in March 2024.. and now I'm hooked and want to continue!
I prefer old souly sail boats over shiny modern yachts!
I'm also interested in paid boat jobs.
I'm looking for an adventure, good stories, new experiences, milebuilding - no romance!

We had the pleasure of having kat on board for 6 weeks in raja Ampat indonesia,and helped sail our boat to sulawasi,she was great fun learnt fast,held her watches well,and pitched in with what had to be done,come back to us Kat,bugger the rest of them.have fun girl.
