Looking for a Delivery Crew, Competent Crew, Mile building or Deckhand position
Hi. I'm interested in finding a position as a Delivery Crew, Competent Crew, Mile building or Deckhand. I am recently retired and looking to stay busy on the water.
I have current certification as "Day Skipper" through RYA (Royal Yacht Association) having completed both ashore and on-water exams. When younger I was Active Duty US Coast Guard (4 years) and served on both High Endurance Cutters and Search & Rescue stations as qualified SAR boat-crew. I currently volunteer in USCG Aux Flotilla 3-10 (Qualified Vessel Examiner). I also work part-time/shift work as deck crew on a commercial Luxury Yacht that does river cruises (US Western Rivers) so am routinely random-drug tested & safety drilled to meet USCG commercial regulations.
Fit and active former athlete. No health problems, no dietary restrictions or allergies. First Aid/CPR qualified. I was a very active boater/sailor when younger but got away from that due to career. Looking to spend more time afloat in retirement. Willing to travel to right opportunities
