Easygoing (newbie) sailor looking for adventures in Mediterranean
About Me
My name is Pedro. I am passionate about sailing and would like to join crews mainly for routes in the Mediterranean, or passages between the Iberian Peninsula and the Canary Islands.
Besides sailing, I enjoy climbing, bicycle touring, cooking, and computers.
What you can expect from me: I am pragmatic, positive, and proactive. I enjoy learning new things and adapting to different situations. My sense of humor never abandons me, which helps to keep a good atmosphere even in challenging conditions.
Sailing Experience:
* When I was younger, I worked two summers on a motorboat with tourists.
* In 2023 I obtained the Spanish skipper (PER) license, and I am currently studying towards a higher certification (PY).
* I sail weekly on a Laser dinghy.
* I am also learning about boat rigging from the book The Complete Rigger’s Apprentice.
