Looking for a Voluntary work position in September/October/November for 2-3 months
I’m looking to join a boat as a voluntary crew member for 2–3 months, preferably in Europe (though I’m open to other adventures!).
I have sailing experience on Dutch lakes (BM 16) and some time on the Ionian Sea. While I don’t yet have ocean miles or formal certifications, I’m fit and very eager to learn, and quick to adapt to new challenges. I enjoy swimming and climbing which has given me good strength and coordination.
I’m easy-going and get along with many different personalities. I’m happy to help with general deckhand duties — watches, trimming sails, docking, cleaning, and general boat life.
What I bring:
- Dutch & English fluency, plus some German & French
- Knowledge of knots, ropes, and basic tool use
- Ability to cook simple but tasty meals for the crew
- A background in biology and a passion for nature and wildlife
- Positive attitude, quick learner, and hands-on approach
