I am a friendly, warm, and experienced skipper who values a respectful and mindful atmosphere on board – rough language is not my style.
I have been sailing since I was 20 and hold the following qualifications: A-Schein, FB2 (SKS/SSS equivalent), VHF radio certificate, pyrotechnics certification, as well as extensive sailing experience on both inland and offshore waters.
Areas I sail: Austria-Salzkammergut, Italy-Trieste, Slovenia, Croatia, Greece, Bahamas, Tahiti (catamaran), and motorboat charters in Greece & Croatia.
Professionally, I am an architect, designer, photographer, and futures day-trader. I enjoy cooking, am technically and practically skilled, tidy & easygoing, and have an academic and spiritual background.
For over 10 years, in addition to my passion for sailing, I was also a wholesaler and manufacturer of yacht fittings for boat accessories, trading worldwide. Later, I sold my company and became an architect and real estate developer. My artistic side was expressed through painting and the creation of furniture and sculptures. Today, I still do design, aesthetic nude art photography, and 3D art objects. And I love growing vegetables in my garden, with a focus on tomatoes.
I love warm countries and would like to emigrate to Sicily or Naples soon.
I am looking for:
Hand-for-cabin trips
Positions as responsible skipper (paid)
Sailing exclusively on modern yachts from 44 feet or catamarans
My sailing philosophy:
Fair-weather sailing up to 25 kn
Only in warm temperatures (26 °C+)
Preferred destinations: Italy, Croatia, Greece, Caribbean, Thailand, etc.
Maximum one overnight passage per week
Focus on sailing, swimming, relaxing, and enjoying life
