27 years old married couple looking for a transatlantic in january 2026
Hello everyone! We are Sophie and Clément, both 27 years old, a motivated duo, always in good spirits, and ready to set sails in January 2026 to cross the Atlantic.
⛵️Our project: To reach South America by sailboat as part of a long journey across the continent.
Departure: flexible – France, Canary Islands, Cape Verde …
Arrival: flexible - somewhere on the South American coast or in the Caribbean
Sophie, dentist (I promise I won’t do extractions on board), experienced and passionate crew member. I have:
• Already crossed the Atlantic by sailboat
• Spent 3 months at sea during a family round-the-world trip
• Completed sailing courses with Les Glénans (2 weeks and a 1-week intensive level 3 this summer)
• Joined a crew exchange program for a month (thanks Vogavecmoi and Gerald Liguori)
• Sailed regularly on holidays (mostly on catamarans, but also monohulls)
Passionate about travel, sports (sailing, hiking, cycling, skiing, …), and card games, I love being actively involved in navigation and bringing life to the crew! I also have 15 years of scouting experience and I’m very comfortable with children.
Clément (aka the helpful and motivated deckhand), trained as an engineer and now transitioning into the charity industry (yes, I’m used to big life shifts). I don’t have much sailing experience yet, but I’ve taken part in many projects and I’m a quick learner! On a personal note, I love sports and classic literature. I’m resourceful, highly motivated, and ready to get up at 3 a.m. for my watch.
In short, we’re looking for a crew to share this beautiful adventure with, in a spirit of good vibes and solidarity. Don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re available to chat, meet up beforehand if possible, or even join a preparation sailing trip!
See you soon under the trade winds!
