Hello sailors! My name is Wei Wei, I’m 24 and from Malaysia. I’m looking for a ride across the Atlantic this season. My availability is flexible. I’m currently based in southern Europe (France/Spain/Andorra) and can fly to any ports/islands nearby to meet the boat. Destination is also open — Caribbean, Latin America, or wherever the wind takes us! I don’t have much sailing experience yet (just a few day trips), but I’m eager to learn, adaptable, and happy to help wherever needed. I’m also a good cook — so you won’t go hungry onboard!
I’m used to simple living, long journeys, and I adapt quickly. I’m in good physical shape, sporty, and enjoy being active. I speak English and Mandarin fluently, with moderate fluency in Spanish and German.
I’m currently on a gap year after studying in Copenhagen, travelling overland and hitchhiking through Central Asia and across Europe. Most recently I hitchhiked from Georgia back to Spain after crossing the Pamir Highway. Now I’m looking for the next adventure –joining a boat to sail across the Atlantic toward the Caribbean/Latin America/anywhere else, whenever it takes me!
