Looking for a Medical Staff, Cook/Stew, Novice Crew or Voluntary work position
We are Ilaria and Marco, a 29- and 27-year-old Italian couple. Both of us are qualified nurses specialized in emergency and urgent care, with a genuine passion for the sea, the mountains, and outdoor activities such as freediving, climbing, trekking, yoga, fishing, and sailing. We are also skilled cooks and fully accustomed to working night shifts, which makes us flexible and adaptable to different rhythms of life on board.
Ilaria is a native Italian speaker, fluent in Portuguese and English, with basic knowledge of French and Spanish.
Marco is a native Italian speaker, with basic knowledge of English, Spanish, and Malagasy.
We are proactive, reliable, and quick learners, motivated to take on any task required on board while bringing a positive and collaborative spirit. We enjoy social and convivial moments, but we also value calm and quiet when needed.
We chose to embark on this adventure because the sea and sailing have always fascinated us. Our dream is to reach Central or South America by sailboat, yet we are flexible and open to different routes and opportunities along the way.
We are highly motivated to learn every aspect of sailing and boat management, eager to gain hands-on experience, and equally enthusiastic about sharing our own skills and knowledge with the crew. With our teamwork, adaptability, and positive spirit, we are ready to contribute to life on board and fully embrace this journey.
