Looking to crew for West coast US to Hawaii
Aloha, looking to help crew from the west coast, US to Hawaii.
I have 20 years experience sailing my own boats interisland in Hawaiian waters. Have owned a Catalina 36, a Catalina 380 and a Yamaha 25. Took the safety at sea course in 2019 and would do a refresher. Attempted Pacific crossing from Washington State to Hawaii. And yes attempted as we got word of hurricane coming up from Mexico that was headed on our path. So after pushing South SW for 2 weeks rather than contend with a hurricane we headed due east to San Diego. Took another 5 days to dock in SD.
So needless to say a Pacific passage is on my bucket list.
