I'm Tarun Rai— adventurer, Dive Master, globe-trotter, and now an enthusiastic sailor on a mission to master the seas. After years of exploring the wonders beneath the ocean’s surface, my journey has now brought me to the exhilarating world of sailing — a natural next chapter in my lifelong love affair with water, freedom, and the great outdoors.
Born and raised in Mumbai, with the Arabian Sea always close to my heart, I've long believed that the ocean is not just a destination — it’s a way of life. Through Luxtryp Travel Experiences, the company I founded, I’ve had the joy of designing unforgettable journeys across the world, from remote rainforests to majestic mountains. But no matter where I’ve traveled, it’s always the call of the sea that speaks loudest to my soul.
Today, as I work toward my skipper’s license with the "Zero to Hero" program at Sail in Asia, I feel like I’m truly returning home — not just to the water, but to a community of like-minded explorers and free spirits. I’m incredibly excited to share this leg of the journey with you all.
