Novice Crew Member – Reliable, Positive, and Ready for Atlantic Adventure (Cape Verde → South America, Jan–Feb 2026)
Ahoi!!
I’m a young Franco-German adventurer looking to join a sailing crew for an Atlantic crossing from Cape Verde to South America in early 2026 (January–February).
I’ve already crossed the Bay of Biscay and know that I’m seaworthy. While I’m still learning the finer points of sail handling and knots, I’m reliable, communicative, and always ready to help with any tasks on board — from night watches and helming to cleaning and cooking.
I speak fluent English, German, and French, enjoy teamwork, and adapt easily to different people and situations. I’m used to living in close quarters with others for longer periods, easy-going, and comfortable sharing limited space.
I’m flexible, down-to-earth, and motivated to gain more offshore experience while supporting the skipper and crew in any way I can.
Looking for a voluntary or novice crew position on a safe, positive, and well-prepared passage.
