Looking to sail from New Zealand to the UK - as many legs/boats as necessary
Hi - I'm Mike,
I used to sail dinghys a lot when I was younger, and have my RYA Day Skipper (although it's unlikely I'll be able to get the paperwork to prove it). I'm a licensed pilot with my UK PPL (which I can prove), and an engineer.
Currently I'm travelling through NZ and will be working the grape harvest in March/April - I'm looking to sail home, preferably east - after that.
I'm reasonably fit, work hard, and take on new information well. I should already be able to read a chart and (roughly) set a sail! I'm looking to experience life on the ocean and trans-oceanic travel without flying.
