want to learn the ropes in the sailing
Hi, my Name is Jeremy and I live in the middle of Germany. No sea in sight - not even a lake.
However I do like adventure and experience! So I have traveled the entire length of the River "Weser" by Kajak. Slept in the woods and ended my Journey in the "Nordsee" of Germany for a total of 450 km and 14 days without roof. - I enjoyed every minute!
So now I want to see if the boating scene is anything close to this much fun.
To be honest I have no clue about anything in the field and my biggest drive is my will to learn, but I am a fast learner!
I have a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and no fear of getting my hands dirty.
I can repair things quick and dirty when needed or by the book when time and resources allow it.
When you decide to get me on the boat prepare to answer some really dumb questions, but I promise I will only ask once.
I am a non-smoker and non-drinker, although I have no problem with other people getting drunk.
I'm quite athletic and have worked some time in the construction business (I don't know if that helps. But I won't collapse after carrying 2 crates)
I am a very calm and collected person and am quite adapt in the kitchen, but not a star-chef.
Now I will have a lot of free time between the 9th of February 2026 and the 28th of March and am looking to fill this gap, preferably with one Mentor and on the same boat, but ain't picky.
My end Vision is being able to sail my own boat accross the Atlantic and make some crazy memories!
